Supportive gatherings for writers of all levels with prompts, optional sharing, and time for socializing led by caring and creative facilitators.

Bio:
ANGELA REBREC lives and works on the unceded, ancestral lands of the Kwantlen, Tsawwassen, Musqueam, and Stó:lō peoples. She is a multidisciplinary artist whose writing has been featured in EVENT, Vallum, The Antigonish Review, The Dalhousie Review, and various anthologies across North America. Angela’s poetry films have earned recognition at the Barcelona International Film Festival, FilmmakerLife Awards, and Barbara International ShortFest, among others.
A recent recipient of Pulp Literature’s 2024 Magpie Award for Poetry, Angela has also been shortlisted for several competitions, including PRISM International’s Nonfiction Contest. Her 2020 collaboration with composer Mickie Wadsworth for ART SONG LAB is included in NewMusicShelf’s Anthology of New Music for Trans & Nonbinary Voices, Vol. 1.
Angela is passionate about fostering community in the literary arts. She is the founding and current president of the Delta Literary Arts Society, where she continues to inspire and support writers of all levels.

Bio:
ANNA EASTLAND lives in Delta with her husband and nine children in a state of general chaos, interspersed with quiet moments when everyone is eating cookies. She writes her best poems while hiding in the bathroom and has performed them for several years at the North Delta Open Mic. 
Author of the poetry book “unexpected blossoming: a journey of grief and hope,” Anna can be often be found working on her second poetry book at Cravings Coffee, where her latest book, an anthology called “Never-ending Love: Sharing Stories, Prayers and Comfort for Miscarriage and Infant Loss,” is for sale.
She believes that pouring out our hearts in writing helps us discover that life’s fragility makes it more beautiful. Anna is very excited to meet you in person and to encourage you on your journey!
Anna has contributed to various other anthologies and co-authored “Beginner’s Guide to Growing Baby: Tips to Help You through All Four Trimesters” with her writer buddy Bonnie Way. Anna’s poem “Kootenay Glacier Crush” was featured on The Habit Podcast.
